CUSTOM MILLWORK & CABINETRY IN CENTRAL OHIO
Woods Edge Creations, LLC is a locally owned and operated business located in Mount Vernon, Ohio. When the business was formed in 2014, we never expected to be where we are today with the wide range of things we offer to our customers all over Central Ohio. We offer custom kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, trim, and moldings. We also serve the commercial and industrial community with custom millwork, custom CNC router services in house, and custom installation for whatever your business furniture functionality requires. Our goal is to provide a quality product while keeping budget in mind.
Let Woods Edge Creations provide your cabinetry, molding, and millwork as we have for many contractors, homeowners, and businesses. All of our products are made to the highest quality and accuracy to ensure a quality finished product. Our cabinetry is designed using a software that allows us to draw in 2D and present the customer with a 3D image of what the completed work will look like. Most of our moldings we offer are standard, but we can also match moldings for those hard-to-find profiles that are no longer being manufactured.

The Process
Project Type & Budget
The first thing is for us to discuss the project and share what your budget is for cabinetry. Once this is established, we can work together to create a scope of work that allows the customer to stay on budget and get everything needed for the dream kitchen they’ve always wanted.
The “BALL PARK” Quote
While it is not 100% accurate to the penny, we have been doing cabinetry long enough to know roughly where your projects cost may end up. We typically give a buffer range for this and is always free at the time of measure/ site visit.
The Presented Quote
After the ballpark quote the customer can then decide if they would like to take their project to the next step. The next step would be to produce a drawing and renderings for the client’s space. We would take all information recorded at the time of measure and produce stunning elevation drawings, floor plans and 3D renderings so the customer has a great visual of what their new space will look like completed. Once all the drawings have been completed, we can at this time give you an exact cost for your project. It can take many hours to design a fully custom kitchen to the customers specifications so for this service we do charge a design fee. If the project moves forward the design fee is applied to the build cost.
Final Measure
Mistakes can happen in the initial measurement consultation, so therefore we do a final measure with our drawings that we have produced to check for any of those mistakes. At this time while with the homeowner, we would go over finish details such as finish colors, cabinet style, door and drawer front styles, handles or knobs, pull outs, etc. Once we have concluded this meeting, we sign the contract together and receive 50% deposit.
The Build Process
Materials are ordered and usually take about 1 working week to get in. Once materials arrive, we go to work using our CNC to cut all the sheet goods. Our skilled craftsman is given cut lists and shop drawings produced by our software to start cutting raw materials to length to start the assembly process. The cabinets are assembled one by one until complete to ensure a quality product. Once the cabinets are assembled, they are then sent into the finish shop where they will get stained or painted to your specified finish. At this time, we will be contacting the homeowner to get an install day scheduled if one has not been previously set.
Installation
Installation is the most anticipated day of the project for us. This is the day that all the renderings, drawings and hard work come to life in their new space. Depending on the project size, install can usually be done in one day but could lead to multiple days on larger projects.
